Critics Choice Awards afholdes torsdag d. 12. januar 2012 i Hollywood Paladium i Los Angeles.

Prisen uddeles af de amerikanske filmkritikere (fra USA og Canada).

Der er mere end 250 anmeldere og journalister der har mulighed for at afgive stemme for årets bedste film- og tv-præstationer.

Der ligges vægt på filmkunst, og prisen anses for at være mere elitær end Oscars.
